Castellina in Chianti (Provincia di Siena), about 2,700 inhabitants, altitude 578 m., is situated between Florence (45 Km.) and Siena (18 Km). Because of its dry and healthy climate, Castellina is a well-known holiday resort in the Chianti area of Tuscany.

Castellina in Chianti is best reached

from the north, you can reach Castellina best by taking the Autostrada Milano-Roma (Autostrada del Sole A1). You leave the A1 at Florence Impruneta and take the superstrada in the direction of SIENA. At the EXIT SAN DONATO you continue south on the road N°222. You pass CASTELLINA in the direction of SIENA. After 3 km. you’ll find a sign on your left “Podere Sagna”. The private road leads after 700 metres to the country estate.

from the south, on the highway Roma – Milan (A1) take the exit Val di Chiana then drive into direction Siena. Take the superstrada coursing Firenze until Badesse. From here please follow the left route to Lornano and Castellina in Chianti. About three kilometres after Fonterutoli there is a sign on which is Podere Sagna written. The private road leads after 700 metres to the country estate.
